Acquired by JMA in 2007, Alpine Meadows Resort is ranked as a top winter resort by Powder Magazine. Situated in the picturesque Tahoe National Forest, it offers skiers and snowboarders 2,400 acres of terrain with 14 lifts, more than 100 trails, seven powder bowls, and majestic views of Lake Tahoe.

One of the key characteristics of Alpine, that is consistent with JMA's own focus, is on the environment and sustainability. Alpine was ranked number one out of 19 resorts throughout the state of California and received an "A" rating in 2007's Ski Area Environmental Scorecard.
